Rudransh pulled the folder from beside him — the fully restored diary pages, printed and organized in careful chronological order — and began to read aloud, his voice low, steady despite the storm clearly building behind his eyes.

"My beautiful boy was born today," he read, the words achingly gentle in his own mouth. "Rudransh. He has his father's eyes and my stubbornness already, screaming the moment the nurse tried to swaddle him. Yuvraj cried holding him — actually cried, my strong, silent husband.
